The Taganrog institute of technology of Southern federal university (ТТИ ЮФУ) - one of leading technical institutes of Russia. The southern federal university is created by the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation №1616-п from November, 23rd 2006года within the limits of the national project "Formation(Education)" by connection to the Rostov state university of following high schools: the Rostov state pedagogical university, the Rostov state academy of architecture and art, the Taganrog state radio engineering university (Taganrog the Rostov region).

The southern federal university realizes educational activity at 35 faculties and 227 faculties on 219 educational programs of the maximum(supreme) vocational training and 7 programs of average vocational training.
