Imagine Cup is the international technological student's competition spent at support Microsoft and other hi-tech companies here already within 4 years. The Russian ending of this competition is traditionally spent in April, and the strongest command(team) of the programmers which have won at these competitions, represents our country on the international ending. Prize-winning fund of the international ending - $170 000, the main prize: $25 000. In 2005 Russia has borrowed(occupied) 1 place in the most prestigious category - competition of program projects. Number of participants in 2007 г.: more than 100 thousand from 100 countries. In it(this) to year in Russia competition Imagine Cup has involved more than 1400 students in various categories, promoting an all-around development of skills as in the field of information technologies, and creative abilities.
